Even though she has been arrested twicein the last few months and has likely violated her probation, Lindsay Lohan is hoping to avoid any jail time by going to rehab for at least SIX MONTHS, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting!

"Lindsay's manager and agent have been telling her for months that she must go to rehab to save her life. Until now she has resisted, but after her arrest this morning she realizes she needs help," a source close to the troubled starlet exclusively tells .

"It's very likely that Lindsay won't fight the probation violation charges and throw herself at the mercy of the court and hopes to avoid jail time by going to rehab for at least six months."

Lindsay was arrested again early Thursday morning in New York City at the club Avenue after she allegedly sucker punched a woman in the club.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, "Lindsay was completely out of control. She was drinking way too much booze and was doing cocaine," a club insider revealed.

With the latest legal trouble, the source said Lindsay could be facing a maximum of 237 days behind bars.

"Because of jail overcrowding in Los Angeles though she would only serve 25 percemt of that time. The City Attorney will ask the judge to max Lindsay out and send her to jail," the source says.

Rebel Wilson featured in Details Magazine surrounded shirtless guys

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

Forced to handle expectations of nonconformism and general sticking-it-to-the-Man-ness since birth, Rebel Wilson has more than lived up to her (very real) name. A standout amid Bridesmaids' swollen cast of scenery-chewing stars, the titular straight gal in Bachelorette, and the biggest, bawdiest, best thing in Pitch Perfect, Wilson, with at least five more movies under her belt in the two years since she moved to Los Angeles from her native Sydney, has, it's fair to say, indelibly changed the definition of the Hollywood leading lady. Not that she's fazed by that.

"America's a bigger market and more competitive, but I had the confidence of having written and/or starred in, like, 13 different shows in Australia," she says. And she's back in multi-hyphenate mode, retooling her own sitcom,
Super Fun Night, for ABC. Helping her navigate the recent deluge of opportunities—as well as helping assess the comfort level of general audiences—is her Bridesmaids roommate turned actual roommate, comedian Matt Lucas of Little Britain. "He comes in handy," Wilson says. "When I wanted to pull this stunt at the VMAs wearing a bikini with pubic hair sticking out, I tried the idea out on him first."

Anne Hathaway says she looks like her gay brother

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

With its theatrical release still 30 days away, Tom Hooper's Les Misérables is already being touted as an Oscar contender for Best Picture.

The movie musical screened for the first time on Friday afternoon at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York, where The Hollywood Reporter was on hand to report on general reactions.

Although Anne Hathaway's role as Fantine in the film is brief, she makes an "indelible impression" especially during "I Dreamed a Dream," THR writes.

Hathaway – who told attendees she spent four months working with a vocal coach before the cast assembled for nine weeks of rehearsal – was willing to cut her hair short for the role, even though it meant she'd "be almost bald" for her September nuptials toAdam Shulman

"When I eventually looked in the mirror I just thought I looked like my gay brother," she said at the screening.

Hathaway has not been shy in divulging how she transformed into Fantine. She recently spoke candidly to Vogue about her extreme dieting to prepare for the role.

The Academy Award-nominated actress, 30, began the process with a strict cleanse, resulting in a 10-lb. weight loss. Then, she lived off two thin squares of dried oatmeal paste a day for two weeks, causing her to lose 15 more lbs.

"I had to be obsessive about it," she said in the magazine's December issue. "The idea was to look near death. Looking back on the whole experience – and I don't judge it in any way – it was definitely a little nuts. It was definitely a break with reality, but I think that's who Fantine is anyway."

Lifetime Epic Disaster Liz & Dick Best and Worst Moments

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

via glooce

If you are reading this, it means your television has just finished showing you the Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan and Grant Bowler as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. And you must have a lot of emotions.

It wasn't all bad, was it? There were definitely some shining moments during the 123 minutes of Lohan-ness, but unfortunately, those came with moments that may have given you pause. We present the best and worst moments from Liz & Dick:

The Best Moments:

Faux Drunk Grant Bowler: Richard Burton did love his booze, and seeing Grant Bowler slur and stumble through half most of the movie was actually a very entertaining part of Liz & Dick. It led to a fiery viewing party debate on whether Bowler was actually drinking during shooting to get through production.

Lindsay Lohan's Genuine Smile: Did you see it? It didn't come often, and it was mostly while she was sitting in the director's chair reminiscing with young Richard Burton about their lives together. But that eye-sparkle that first made us fall in love with the Lohan came about more than once during Liz & Dick, and we shall cherish those smiles forever.

The Costumes: If we were watching Liz & Dick with Lohan, our conversation afterwards would very much be like this opening scene of Friends, with Lindsay as Joey and us as Monica. We can safely rave about the clothing in Liz and Dick, from the movie costumes to the luxurious dresses that Elizabeth Taylor favored. It was fun to experience that time period through the eyes of the wealthy couple. And the lighting was good, too.

The Worst Moments:

Lindsay Attempting Real Emotion:
You could tell she wanted to capture the tumultuous and often times painful aspects of Liz and Dick's marriages (the tears, the fighting, the passionate embraces), but she just couldn't quite get there. And when you fall flat during those emotional scenes, you fall hard and right on your face. And everybody winces and averts their eyes uncomfortably.

Lindsay's Wavering Accent: Elizabeth Taylor was born in London, so she's supposed to have an accent, albeit a slight one. Lohan did her best to stay in that accent, but she often slipped into her normal, American-accented husky speaking voice. Let's just say this, if you were playing a drinking game and you took a shot every time Lindsay slipped back into her American accent, you're probably in the hospital right now.

Knowing Lindsay Could Never Be Liz: The great Elizabeth Taylor was intoxicating and seductive, and you couldn't take her eyes off of her when she was onscreen. You certainly can't take your eyes off of Lohan in Liz & Dick, but not for the same reasons. As accurate as the costumes are and as hard as Bowler tries to be Richard Burton, Lohan will never be Taylor. And that is the bottom line.

Michael Lohan On Lindsay Lohan’s Film Debut: Screw The Critics

The long-awaited premier of Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor hit Lifetime Sunday evening after a barrage of criticism.

But daddy Michael Lohan tells RumorFix exclusively, “screw the critics.”

Although the father and daughter aren’t talking, he’s still defending her.

“Due to the content, I had to step away from some of the scenes,” Michael tells us, “but regardless of what some of these so called critics (who don’t have an ounce of talent in their bones) say, Lindsay proved that she is an amazing actress!”

He continues,”This was a different role for her at a different time of her life! Yet, she still has what it takes to be the Lindsay Lohan that is one of Hollywood’s top actresses! Just imagine.”

Emma Stone might have a sex tape

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

via glooce

Emma Stone has a sex tape, and it's not with her Amazing Spider-Man co-star and boyfriend Andrew Garfield, a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

While the Easy A actress is known more as a comedic sweetheart than a sultry sexpot, a close insider says Emma, 24, has a wild streak that has culminated itself in the form of a homemade sex romp on video.

"Emma Stone has a sex tape and that's a fact," the source told RadarOnline.com.

"She made it long before she started dating Andrew Garfield, and before she really became a household name. She was just young and probably thought nothing would ever come of it."

According to the insider, the tape has not been shopped around…yet.

"The tape remains in the hands of the person she made it with," the source said.

"But that doesn't mean there's any guarantee that it won't eventually hit the market. The higher Emma's star rises, the more valuable that tape becomes."

The source -- a close pal of the actress -- tells RadarOnline.com that Emma certainly isn't the type who would relish in releasing a sex tape and sees no benefit of making a name for herself by using it.

"Emma's really happy with her career and proud of where she is," the source said.

"There's no way she would organize the release of the tape; in fact, she would fight to stop it. She has no respect for women like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton who became famous because they released a sex tape."

Lindsay Lohan will focus on love after she wins her Oscar

    NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

    via glooce

    Suni

Lindsay Lohan has been making the press rounds for the last two weeks in support of Liz & Dick, Lifetime's new Elizabeth Taylor biopic that premieres November 25.

But, as evidenced by canceling on Barbara Walters, it was made plainly clear that LiLo was only interested in discussing her professional career. Questions about her personal life have consistently gotten the, "I don't want to go there" treatment from Lindsay. That's why I was so surprised to read such a candid interview with her in the new issue of US Weekly.

Not only does she address her time in jail -- and rehab! -- but Lindsay opens up about her father fight, her relationship with Samantha Ronson and adopting! Check out the most choice quotes:

On Her Fight With Michael Lohan
That night will always be my one regret because it hurt my siblings and my mom. It's unfortunate that I can't call my dad when I fight with my mom. That's fine. Whatever. I'll call my brother. He's not going to edit the conversation and put it out in public!

    On Her Notoriety
Since I was a kid, I've loved being on camera. Don't misconstrue that: I didn't strive to have flashbulbs at dinner or people who don't know me calling TMZ. And 99 percent of the time, it's not true. I feel bullied. I can't think of any actor who has been subjected to such extreme publicity who hasn't, like, committed suicide.

    On Dating Samantha Ronson
I was bold enough to say, "Yeah, I like a girl. And?" That put her in a situation where she was being attacked every day. That's not fair. And what am I left with? Heartbreak. That was three years ago. It was my last serious relationship. I needed to love myself before I could be with anyone. And was going through a lot. Two toxic people cannot be together. End of story. We're friends now. That's how it started, so I think that's what it was meant to be.

    On Her Jail Time
As hard as it was for me to admit it when I was in denial, it was a blessing in disguise. I was in solitary confinement and I took the time to really get into the right headspace.

    On Rehab
I think [I got back on the right track] when I was at Betty Ford. That's how I changed. Marilyn Monroe went to an institution and said, "I may not belong here like the world thinks I do, but I might as well take what I can get here and use it and help other people." I think that's what everyone should take away from these experiences.

    On Her Future
    I want to adopt a son. I don't want to deal with a mini-me!

    On Finding Love Again
I'm not focused on that yet. I want to do a ton of movies first. After I win an Oscar, I can start thinking about love.

Lindsay Lohan Interview with the UK's Daily Mirror

    NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

    via glooce

    grass

It's easy to see why Lindsay Lohan fought so hard to play Elizabeth Taylor in a new drama, as their lives have striking parallels.

Both were hugely successful child stars, have been the subject of unrelenting public scrutiny and had a string of tempestuous love affairs.

But there’s one big difference: the 26-year-old hasn’t found her Richard Burton yet.

She has reportedly dated lots of hunky men, including Bruce Willis, Christian Slater, Colin Farrell and Jared Leto, but she still hasn’t found The One.

Lindsay, who plays Taylor in the TV movie Liz and Dick, says: “I can only imagine what it would be like to have the kind of love that she and Richard Burton had.

“It’s such a wonderful thing. It’s so heartbreaking. Love is scary and I’m yet to find that one person.

"I relate to the fact that Elizabeth Taylor once said, ‘I love being in love.’ I do, too. I love being in love.

“There’s nothing better than that first feeling of being in love, so I look forward to having that at some point.

“Yes, I’ve been in love with people – maybe one or two – but I haven’t really had a true love yet.”

Liz and Dick marks her comeback in front of the cameras after a rocky two years during which she spent three months in rehab at the Betty Ford Center under a court order and was charged with theft of a necklace and probation violation.

She was placed under house arrest wearing a tracking ankle monitor and was later found to have broken the terms of her probation by failing to perform community service.

She was sentenced to 30 days in jail but spent less than five hours there because of overcrowding. She is still on informal probation.

But, she says, she is trying hard to lose the “bad girl” image that has dogged her for so long and she is now concentrating on work.

“I fought to get the role in Liz and Dick because I related to her so much because of her position in the public eye and the media obsession with her, and the ups and downs in her relationships and life. And that’s aside from her love for diamonds!” she laughs.

“We’re both strong-willed and Elizabeth and her mother had a similar bond to the one I have with my mother.
"I learned from Liz that it’s OK to be in love and have heartache. She and Burton loved each other so much it was scary.”

When the role came along she was anxious to start work again and try to restore her reputation.

“I love acting and that’s what I started out doing and it’s unfortunate that people began to know me as a celebrity rather than an actress,” she says. “I can only hope to gain respect back through my work.”

And after so much turmoil she is determined to change her life.

“I care what people think but I am who I am and it’s unfortunate that some of the things that are meant to be kept private have been exposed and if I had the choice I wouldn’t have had it that way.

“I’ve drawn from experiences and from things I’ve seen and grown up with and I don’t want to go back.”

Lindsay believes that part of her problems stemmed from the people around her.

“When you’re filming, you’re part of a family and then when it stops you’re left alone with nothing and it gets lonely and depressing and sad.

“I was being hounded a lot and didn’t know what to do and didn’t want to listen to anyone. At the age when I would have been in college I was in Los Angeles living by myself and I didn’t have the best people with the best intentions around me.

“It’s hard for me to say ‘no’ to someone I love and I really don’t like to notice the bad in people and I’ve had to work on that because not everyone has your best interests at heart.

“When you reach a certain point of fame, people are willing to do whatever you ask them to do and are afraid to say no.

“That has a lot to do with living in excess and if you don’t have the right people around you then you’re never going to learn when to stop.”

Lindsay was upbeat and friendly when we talked in the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Lively and quick-witted with a bright sense of humour, she talked frankly and openly about her life and problems despite the fact her publicists had ruled out any personal questions.

She was wearing a vintage blue dress, one of hundreds she keeps in storage units around LA.

“I was working and travelling a lot and living in different hotels and I didn’t want to bring everything with me so you end up buying more and then it comes home and people send you things.

“It just piles up and up and you want to keep getting the new thing so you end up having way too much,” says Lindsay, who once confessed to having spent £75,000 in one shopping spree.

“My garage is not a garage, it’s a closet,” she laughs. “I love clothing. It’s so expressive and whatever you wear on a certain day tells the story of who you are.”

Despite the fame and fortune life isn’t easy for Lindsay. Wherever she goes she is hounded by paparazzi and her troubled home life and anguished relationship with her father have come under almost constant scrutiny in the gossip columns and fan magazines.

She has been in showbusiness since she was three years old, when she was the first red-haired child signed by the Ford model agency.

Raised in Long Island, New York, she was sometimes thrust into the role of protector of her younger sister and two brothers from the antics and aggression of her father, a former Wall Street trader who was jailed for a series of offences.

Divorced from Lindsay’s mother Dina, Michael Lohan’s problems include alleged drug abuse, attempted assault, a fraud case, felony driving charges and a restraining order. He also tried to claim some of Lindsay’s earnings.

The actress made her film debut in 1998 playing twins in the remake of The Parent Trap and became a teenage star, thanks to roles in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.

Her last movie was a small part in Machete two years ago but now she is back, with Liz and Dick, and has just finished two more films.

“I said to everyone I was working with, ‘Just keep me on set’ because that’s where I’m happiest and I lost that feeling for a while.

"Now I have it back I don’t want to give it up. I just want to keep making films. That’s my focus.

“I know that I’m a really good actress and I know I’ve had my faults. But knowing that and knowing that I love what I do has kept me going.”

    She looks Stunning!!!

Vanessa Paradis vows to protect her children with Johnny Depp

    NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

    via glooce

'I don't sell my private life, and nobody knows the truth or has done a proper journalist's work on that situation."

Vanessa Paradis has no plans to speak publicly about her split from Johnny Depp.

The French musician-turned-actress - who ''amicably separated'' from the 49-year-old 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor in June after 14 years together - said she is determined to never discuss the break down of their relationship in a bid to protect their two children Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 10.

The 39-year-old star told the Daily Beast: ''I don't sell my private life, and nobody knows the truth or has done a proper journalist's work on that situation. Nowadays, people speculate, but nobody knows. I have my children to protect. There are children involved, so it's really no one's business but the family.''

The 'Be My Baby' singer insisted her children are her number one priority and opened up about how much she loves them.

She said: ''What changes with motherhood is that you're not No. 1 in your life anymore. Suddenly someone counts more than yourself. It makes you a better person, less selfish and more aware of others. The biggest love of your life is born, and it's the one love that never fades, but keeps growing stronger.''

Vanessa also said her relationship with her children helped her to prepare for her new movie 'Cafe de Flore' in which she plays a jealous mother of a child with Downs Syndrome that falls in love with another child.

She said: ''All parents are [overprotective]. When somebody hurts your child, you become a war machine. You couldn't kill, but you want to. We have the gut feeling, you know? You love and you fear for them, and it's all here [points to her belly]. I understand that.''

Ruth Negga: 'I'm not in any rush to get anywhere'

    NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD-POLITICS

    via glooce

Ruth Negga won a host of admirers with her portrayal of Shirley Bassey on BBC TV last year. Now she's set to break through with a major Channel 4 spy drama and a role in Steve McQueen's next movie

Ruth Negga looks over her shoulder. "Hold on a minute," she says, leaning back to peer beneath our cafeteria table on an upper floor of the RIBA building in central London. She bends to look under her chair. "Where is my movie career?"

The 30-year-old actor is clowning, and this is her way of telling me I've touched on a subject that has come up before. A best newcomer nominee at the Olivier Awards back in 2003, Negga has had memorable success in the theatre across the intervening decade, particularly at the National: Aricia next to Helen Mirren's Phèdre, Ophelia opposite Rory Kinnear's Hamlet. And she's done plenty of good telly too: she was Shirley Bassey in the well-liked BBC biopic Shirley last year, and is soon to appear in Channel 4's impressive political drama Secret State.

    Collapse )

But movie work? Patchier. There was a role written for her in Neil Jordan's 2005 drama Breakfast On Pluto. She was the dame in an unremarkable Samuel L Jackson action flick, The Samaritan, released in April, and she'll be in Steve McQueen's new film next year. It's unfathomable to me that she isn't used more.

Negga's a powerful actor, the voice low and layered with bite. Her expression, in neutral, has a sort of stoic hurt to it, making her an ideal tragedian. And it can't go unmentioned that she's stunning to look at: half Irish, half Ethiopian, massive eyes, pronounced chin and cheekbones. Yo, Mendes, Nolan, Boyle: get in touch.

"I'm not in any rush to get anywhere," she says. "There's a pressure on actors to get somewhere before it's over. But everyone wants longevity, don't they? It's a career. Why be that flash-in-the-pan, taking every job out of worry it'll soon be over?"

Negga was seven when her Ethiopian father died in a car accident. She was raised by her Irish mother, a nurse, and they moved around before settling in Dublin, where Negga went on to study drama at Trinity College. She once credited her itinerant upbringing for an ability to pick up accents: Shirley Bassey's distinctive Tiger Bay, for instance. In Secret State she plays a meddlesome MI6 agent called Agnes, a character loosely based on real life spy-turned-whistleblower Katharine Gunn and for which Negga adopts crisp RP. In the McQueen film, Twelve Years a Slave, she'll be a slave from the deep south.

Negga has needed to make herself a chameleon. In September she told an Irish tabloid that Hollywood casting agents have sometimes been baffled by her: mixed-race, Ethiopian-born, Irish-accented, London-based. It sounds an unimaginative bias, if true; perhaps she inspires hesitation in other ways. Only 5ft 2in (and wrapped today in a woollen scarf long enough to mummify her entirely), Negga is small, bird-like, but patently relishes a scrap. Sorry Shakespeare: "Ophelia is underwritten, a really strange part." And deciding whether to take a new acting job, a possible fork in the career, is "like a Robert Frost poem, every time". Overall you get the sense that Negga isn't a put-me-where-you-want-me actor.

"When you work with directors who really love actors, who love their contribution, it feels amazing. But sometimes when you work with directors you feel like you're in the way. A pawn that they have to manipulate to get their point or their art across." Steve McQueen was one of the goodies. "There's absolutely no bullshit about that man whatsoever." Indeed, Negga liked McQueen so much, "I went into a swamp for him."

It was a runaway scene, her character, an escaped slave, making away through "a real Louisiana swamp. Sewage in there, and alligators. Water moccasins, all kinds of things. The stuntman told me not to worry, it was only knee deep. Knee deep for him!" She gestures to where the sewage-water actually reached. Armpit height.

Getting filthy was a feature of her work in Phèdre, a hit for the National back in 2009. I have an abiding memory of her taking her bows, absolutely plastered in stage blood. She had it splashed all over her face, neck and torso, Negga's character, Aricia, having clung to and kissed the dead body of her lover Hippolyte, played by Dominic Cooper. "A critic wrote that it was too much blood. It probably was," she says. Nonetheless, she was backstage every night coercing the make-up team: "More!" Director Nicholas Hytner eventually had to intervene and tell everyone to tone it down. "But I thought, God, it's the fucking Greeks. Of course she kissed his tattered, trampled body. It's love! You don't come to see a Greek play and not want blood and gore and depth of feeling from your boots up."

Gossip at the time had Negga in an off-stage relationship with Cooper. She denied it in a 2010 interview ("Absolutely ridiculous"). Then in July there were long-lens photographs taken of the pair, smooching on an Italian beach. "If people want to invade your privacy they want to invade your privacy," she says, of the paparazzi. "I find it chilling and I find it awful and it makes me really nervous. It hasn't happened to me much but when you have a taste of it, it's bitter."

More Hollywood work, I say, would probably up the likelihood of intrusion. She nods – although, "some people can manage being a household name, get access to really good parts, and no one [from the gossip press] has any interest in them. I don't know how that works."

The ultimate benefit of being an actor, she thinks, is "not having to take the same route to work every day".
